I'm kind of bored so I figured I'd update and whatnot.
We've BBQ'd the past two days, which has been amazing. I love the smell/taste of BBQ food, it makes me think of summer, for sure. I've been waiting for the weather to warm up just so we can BBQ. Growing up, we BBQ'd alot, which is nice.
I watched "Martian Child" Friday night. Super good. Very sweet. I enjoyed it. But then again, I enjoy just about anything with John Cusack in it. This afternoon, we're going to watch "No Country for Old Men" before we go grocery shopping.
I have to pick up stuff to make Ethan's cupcakes for his birthday this week. I'm making Chocolate Guinness cupcakes. Should be good. I've also gotta get his birthday present this week. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to get him, but I'm not sure yet. Guess we'll see when I get there, huh?
I get to register for classes on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to it, considering that I've switched my main area of study (from broadcast studies to Broadcasting as my major). Thankfully, it won't be too much extra work. If it all goes as planned, I'll get all the classes (31 credits worth) done in two semesters, plus the spring/summer semester (one class is only offered in the spring/summer....grumble grumble.)
Looks like I'll be working all summer at the Cafe which will be nice. And, I think I'll be living with Ethan, too, which should be good. I'll be getting my drivers liscense (finally) and he'll take me to work or I guess I'll drive myself. We'll see. I'll be making good money, which is awesome. I'll be able to pay some bills, and save some.
Alright, the Native (a/k/a The Boy) is stirring, so it's time to wrap this up.

spring ahead
So, Spring shall be here soon, which means the weather will (hopefully) get better.
March is a busy month for me. On the 18th is Ethan's birthday, so I need to find him a good present. Then, on the 21st, my youngest niece turns 1, so I'll be taking a trip down to Chicago for her party, which also happens to fall on Easter weekend. Good times. Ethan will be going with me, which will be fun. Also, on the 1st of April (okay, so it's not March, but close enough) is Ethan and my 2 year anniversary.
It's kind of hard to believe it's been almost 2 years that we've been together. Alot of stuff has gone on, babies were born, classes were taken, I've moved a few times, and some things have happened between Ethan and I, but we're still here. 2 years is a long time. Wow.
Anyhow. I think for our anniversary, I'm going to make us a big fleece blanket for down in the basement, for the couch. It gets kind of chilly down here, and the blanket we have down here isn't big enough to be spread across both our laps, we found out last night.
Okay...We watched a couple movies yesterday. "Into the Wild" was amazing. I read the book last summer, my mom had given me her copy, and I loved it. So, we rented the movie. I liked it, I can't say Ethan loved it, haha.
Then we watched "30 Days of Night". I was kind of impressed that for once, the "hero" of a horror movie doesn't live (sorry if I gave something away.) It was alright. Very weird, though, even for a horror movie.
Well, I think I'm going to go reheat the burger we had left over from dinner last night, and watch some TV.

ready set, don't go.
Alright. Update time. (I'm serious this time, haha)
Classes: Going well, I suppose. They're classes. Not enjoying all of them as much as I'd like, but whatever. I'm half done with the semester already, right?
Work: Chaos. That's the only thing I think to say about it.
Other stuff: Ethan just bought a dune buggy (shakes head....he doesn't *need* one, lol) We went to a party last night that kind of sucked. It was like I was the odd girlfriend out (all of his buddies have girlfriends/fiances, and they're all close friends with each other. Except me.) It was like a shitty high school party at the house of someone you don't know, so no one talks to you. As if to make it worse, the keg was PBR. Gross.
My sis and the kids are coming up Wednesday and staying until Friday, which should be fun. I'm on Spring Break so it's nice that I have NOTHING to do all week. YAY!
Okay. I need to finish my blanket for my nephew (it's huge, and gets fuzzy stuff all over because of one of the fleece panels.) and watch some TV.
Later all,
Tori
Listening to: "As Daylight Dies" Killswitch Engage, "Big Ones" Aerosmith
Reading: "The Vagina Monologues" Eve Ensler
